About

About

Southern Community Options is a division of Barossa Enterprises Inc., a respected South Australian not-for-profit organisation with almost 50 years of experience supporting people to build skills, achieve goals, and participate fully in their community.

We are proud to deliver the Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) Autism-Specific Program. Inclusive Employment Australia is the Australian Government's new employment service, replacing Disability Employment Services (DES), and is designed to provide more personalised, participant-centred support to help people with disability prepare for, find, and maintain meaningful employment.

Through the Autism-Specific Program, Southern Community Options supports autistic people of all ages, their families, and employers to build confidence, develop skills, and create pathways to long-term employment.

At Southern Community Options, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to succeed in a workplace where they feel valued, respected, and supported. Our approach is person-centred and strengths-based, recognising each individual's unique abilities, interests, and aspirations.

We work alongside people, families, employers, schools, support coordinators, and community partners to create opportunities that lead to real employment outcomes. Whether you're looking for your first job, building work readiness skills, gaining experience, or planning your next career step, we're here to support you every step of the way.

Together, we'll help you build the skills, confidence, and connections needed to achieve your employment goals and thrive in the workplace.
